We are looking for two committed, enthusiastic and determined people to join us and assist in the successful delivery of the York Sport 'Learn to Swim' programme.
York Sport's mission is to inspire everyone to embrace active lifestyles, exercise and take part in sport and to offer the widest range of first class sport, health and fitness facilities, services and programmes in the city. We encourage everyone of all abilities to enjoy sport, with a huge range of pay-as-you-go and membership options to suit everyone. We have over 39 acres of sports fields and a range of indoor facilities to support a variety of sports, clubs and teams.
As a Swimming Assistant you will be responsible for welcoming pupils and parents to their swimming lessons, providing an excellent service at all times. You will also assist Swimming Instructors to teach swimming to participants of various abilities.
You will possess an ability to work on your own initiative and a commitment to working within a team where you will need to constantly adapt to different workplace scenarios. Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
The rate of pay is £13.09 per hour. The role is Monday, Thursday and Friday 16:00-19: hours a week)
