We are seeking a passionate, confident, and experienced Year 4 Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Aldershot, starting as soon as possible. As a Year 4 Teacher, you will plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across all areas of the curriculum. You will foster independence, resilience, and positive learning behaviours, while ensuring that all pupils, including those with SEND and English as an additional language, have access to challenging and stimulating learning opportunities. You will work closely with teaching assistants and colleagues to ensure consistency and high standards across the year group. Key Responsibilities Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons across the Year 4 curriculum Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND and EAL learners Promote independence, resilience, and positive learning behaviours Maintain a structured, inclusive, and positive classroom environment Monitor pupil progress and maintain accurate assessment records Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants, Key Stage 2 colleagues, and senior leaders Communicate regularly with parents and carers regarding pupil progress Contribute to staff meetings, CPD sessions, and whole-school initiatives Support extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities Ensure safeguarding procedures are adhered to at all times The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Have experience teaching Lower Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4 Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills Be reflective, proactive, and adaptable Show a strong commitment to inclusion, safeguarding, and pupil wellbeing Work collaboratively as part of a professional and supportive team The school is located in Aldershot, with excellent transport links and a welcoming local community.
