THE GROWTH YOU HELP PROVIDE AS AN EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAM DIRECTOR ASSISTANT
You'll work full-time, Monday through Friday, from around 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. No evenings or weekends.
As an Early Childhood Program Director Assistant, your day will start with making sure everything is running smoothly across the center. You'll answer messages from parents, check voicemails and emails, and help the team stay organized. You'll lead tours for new families, assist with enrollments, and help with schedule changes. If a teacher is out, you might step into a classroom to help maintain our required staff-to-child ratios. You'll keep tabs on our childcare software, organize curriculum plans, make sure classrooms are well-stocked, and help your teammates stay on track. You'll also work closely with the Director to hire new staff, run team meetings, and support teachers when they need guidance or help with communication.
OUR IDEAL EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAM DIRECTOR ASSISTANT
* Must be at least Associate Teacher qualified in accordance with New Hampshire state guidelines
* 1+ year(s) of experience working in a leadership childcare role OR managing a team in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to lead a team of peers with professionalism and support, as well as multitask effectively while managing both administrative and operational tasks
* Familiarity with state childcare licensing requirements
* Proficiency with software, systems, and digital communication tools
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Calm, friendly, and professional demeanor in a dynamic environment
