YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITES
As part of the development of our activities close to Norwich, we are looking for an Advanced TP141 Commissioning Engineer (M/F).
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Lead and manage the end-to-end commissioning process on high-voltage (HV) substations and power systems.
* Responsible for performing primary equipment testing, relay protection testing, managing commissioning documentation, and maintaining up-to-date drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
* Ensure compliance with TP141 standards (Advanced Authorisation).
* Liaise with project managers, design teams, and construction teams to ensure alignment throughout project delivery.
* Produce and review commissioning plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
* Sign off and authorise live commissioning works in line with TP141 requirements.
* Mentor junior engineers and supervise commissioning teams on site.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and quality assurance.
YOUR PROFILE & PERSONALITY
You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field, and have at least 8 years of experience in a similar commissioning role within high-voltage or National Grid projects.
You have a strong interest in electrical infrastructure and grid compliance. You possess excellent technical and problem-solving skills and are able to lead commissioning activities in high-pressure, safety-critical environments.
