Site based Maintenance Electrician - Morpeth - Global Facilities Management Organisation: Commercial
CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our global client on a permanent basis. The client is a leading provider in facilities management solutions, delivering top-tier services across various industries.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance within commercial settings, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
This is a static contract based in Morpeth, Northumberland, with parking facilities available.
Package:
* Competitive salary of £39,000 per annum
* Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
* Participation in an ‘out of hours’ on-call rota (to be confirmed)
* 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Responsibilities:
* Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues promptly
* Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimise downtime and ensure the longevity of electrical equipment
* Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions to restore functionality
* Install, repair, and maintain electrical components, such as wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures
* Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate repairs and upgrades
* Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environment
Qualifications:
* Qualified to at least City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
* Holding up-to-date 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician or similar role within the facilities management industry
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry
