This is a casual position focused on producing and delivering quality menus to our guests.
The Person
* Be a team player; work as an integral part of our culinary team to ensure smooth operations.
* Be competent; follow recipes and provide meals with quality and consistency.
* Be a hygiene and allergen champion; adhere to and help enforce strict health, hygiene, and allergen standards.
* Be attentive; manage deliveries, stock rotation, and compliance paperwork.
* Be adaptable and flexible; assist the hotel kitchens as required.
The ideal candidate
* At least two years’ experience in a professional kitchen environment.
* Ability to produce high-quality food using various ingredients.
* Knowledge of Health and Safety, HACCP, and allergen reporting.
* Food Safety Level 2 Certification (or equivalent).
* Good oral communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and deliver quality work.
* High attention to detail.
* Enthusiasm to develop your skills and support those around you.
* Adaptability to change and openness to new ideas and processes.
* Ability to self-organise and work cleanly in a small kitchen environment.
