We are partnering with a highly successful business to find a motivated Communications Specialist to join their Corporate Affairs Team on a one year maternity cover contract. In this varied and dynamic role, you will be the driving force behind their PR and social media content, working closely with colleagues across all divisions and with external clients.
From crafting engaging press releases to managing PR events, you will play a vital role in securing positive media coverage and elevating our client's brand across the region.
What You Will Be Doing
1. Source, write, and manage highly engaging content for press releases, social media (with a focus on leading their LinkedIn strategy), internal communications, and website copy.
2. Organise impactful PR opportunities with clients and key stakeholders. You will regularly get out from behind the desk to visit active sites across the North East and Yorkshire, coordinating media activities and capturing content.
3. Partner with colleagues across divisions for content ideation and secure necessary approvals from both internal and external stakeholders.
