About Our Practice
We operate across two unique sites in Plymouth, offering our clinical team an exceptionally engaging and varied workload
Peverell Park Surgery: Based in a beautiful, historic converted stable block at Pounds House. It is a long-established family practice serving multiple generations of the local community.
University Medical Centre: A purpose-built, on-campus facility providing dedicated primary care and contraceptive services to the student population of Plymouth University.

The Role & Package
Position:
Fixed-Term Salaried GP (Maternity Cover)
Contract Length:
8 to 12 months, with flexibility to negotiate start and end dates.
Sessions:
4 to 8 sessions per week (we are highly flexible and open to discussing preferred days).
Salary:
Competitive, negotiable dependent on experience (plus defence union medical indemnity contribution).

Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality patient care across both routine and acute/same-day triage pathways.
Conduct face-to-face and telephone consultations.
Manage daily administrative tasks (clinical letters, pathology results, and prescriptions) enhanced by our automated transcription and software tools.
Contribute positively to our supportive, team-focused culture.
Requirements
Fully qualified GP with GMC registration.
On the GMC GP Register and the NHS England Medical Performers List.
An empathetic, adaptable approach to care, comfortable communicating with everyone from young student populations to elderly community patients.
