Job Title: Temporary Front of House cover - SOHO


Location: London - West end


Contract Type: Temporary


Industry: Creative


Salary: £14.00 per hour


Hours: 09.00 - 17.30


Fully office based - 5 days per week - no hybrid working




1. 2 week holiday cover

2. Thursday 2nd Oct - handover

3. Cover - Monday 6th October - Friday 17th October




Our client, a leading social transformation company in Soho, is seeking a skilled and experienced Temporary Receptionist to join their team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to be the face and voice of our client's brand at their Head Office, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office and facilities.



Responsibilities:



4. Impeccably present the London office to reflect our client's luxury aesthetic standards.

5. Act as the first point of contact for incoming calls, guests, and visitors, providing a warm welcome and professional assistance.

6. Manage post and handle couriers for all staff.

7. Independently coordinate office projects, including office moves and renovations, while maintaining a high standard of luxury.

8. Create and maintain project plans, ensuring cost, quality, and time objectives are met.

9. Support the senior management team by organising travel arrangements and coordinating meetings.

10. Handle confidential information with discretion, including managing confidential documents.

11. Provide out of hours support for urgent calls and emails from key stakeholders.

12. Manage security and alarm systems, coordinating with security services when needed.

13. Coordinate repairs and facility issues outside of normal business hours.

14. Collaborate with the finance and IT manager to manage IT support, budgeting, and expense tracking.

15. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting our client's company values and culture.



Skills and Experience:



16. Previous experience as a Receptionist or in a similar role.

17. Well-presented with a keen eye for aesthetics.

18. Excellent interpersonal skills and high degree of professionalism and integrity.

19. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

20. Proven knowledge of general administration procedures.

21. Highly efficient in resource planning, budget management, and task assignment.

22. Driven attitude with a focus on the best interests of the organisation.

23. Ability to thrive under pressure, manage conflicting priorities, and meet deadlines.

24. Resourceful with the ability to solve problems independently.

25. Adaptable and open to change.

26. Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
