JOB TITLE: Senior Ventilation Hygiene & Fire Dampener Technician
LOCATION: Field based – mainly across the South-East (Kent, Sussex, London and Essex) with some work in other parts of the UK. Attendance at our Head Office located on the Medway City Estate, Rochester, ME2 4NZ will also be required.
HOURS: Working 8 hour shifts at times to suit our clients' needs and access restraints. This includes evenings and weekends.
PACKAGE: Annual salary of £32,000 - £42,000, company van, pension and 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays. The opportunity to earn overtime may also be available dependant on workload.

Envirocure Limited is a friendly, family owned and run company with offices in Kent, and Bellshill, Scotland. We provide Legionella control management, water treatment and ventilation services. Our clients include Social Housing Providers, Local Authorities, NHS Trusts, Education providers, hotels, and other private sector companies.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are expanding our ventilation division and are looking for a Senior technician to join our team. The role involves fire dampener testing, ventilation cleaning, ductwork hygiene inspections/surveys, and, at times other support tasks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Fire Damper testing to BS9999
* Completing general duct work and kitchen extract cleaning.
* Installation of access hatches
* Completing post clean reports
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
* Certification of Competence for Fire Damper testing and maintenance (BESA accredited or similar)
* A practical knowledge of duct cleaning
* The ability to work with minimal supervision
* Attention to detail and a willingness to complete works to a high standard
* Punctual and smart appearance with a friendly demeanour
* Functional Maths and English skills
* Full UK driving license
ADDITIONAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATONS:
* IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) Training covering Mobile Vertical (3a) and Mobile Boom (3b)
* CSCS card – any level
* Knowledge of basic legionella control
References, qualifications verification and an advanced DBS check will be conducted upon acceptance of an offer of employment.
