Job Title: Mobile Maintenance Technician
Location: Glasgow
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £28,540.46 per annum, including overtime, travel time, 33 days holiday, private pension & benefits such as private healthcare, life insurance, and employee discounts.
An exciting opportunity has emerged for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Technician to join our company, working with one of our major UK supermarket clients.
The role involves carrying out non-technical repairs and minor PPMs, as well as assisting in planned and reactive maintenance, electrical, and mechanical plant works at various sites within the designated region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist other City Technicians with major or minor maintenance work.
* Complete all necessary PPMs and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales, ensuring all paperwork is accurately completed.
* Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk, assessing requirements and carrying out repairs as necessary.
* Prioritize and complete minor maintenance and repair work within agreed timescales.
* Ensure all tools and equipment needed for minor maintenance and repairs are available and in good condition.
Qualifications / Experience:
* City & Guilds / NVQ trade qualification (Carpentry / Plumbing / Roofing)
* Previous experience in building maintenance within a commercial or retail environment.
Desirable but not essential:
* Ability to maintain and repair a range of equipment.
* High quality of repairs and maintenance.
* Speed and efficiency of work.
The ideal candidate:
* Full driving license.
* Experience using a PDA system.
* Experience carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance within a similar retail environment.
