Job Summary
We are seeking a professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm welcome. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive experience for all visitors to our hotel, handling enquiries and managing reservations with efficiency and care.
Duties
* Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
* Manage phone calls, providing information about the hotel's services and amenities while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
* Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
* Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring that all materials are up-to-date and accessible.
* Process reservations accurately using the hotel management system, confirming bookings and updating guest information as necessary.
* Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest services, including housekeeping and maintenance.
* Assist in managing payments and billing processes while ensuring confidentiality of guest information.
* Promote hotel services and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
Experience
* Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred.
* Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable to accommodate diverse guests.
* Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* A friendly disposition with a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
* Familiarity with hotel management software is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
