Overview
The position focuses on child in need and child protection work, working closely with children, young people and their families to develop child‑centred, co‑produced plans that reflect aspirations and promote sustainability. You will receive support from a dedicated Practice Improvement Team and access to a range of learning and development opportunities.
Responsibilities
* Provide core child in need and child protection services, including assessment, risk management and intervention.
* Develop child‑centred, co‑produced plans with families to support their aspirations.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate the best outcomes for children and families.
* Utilise tools and working infrastructure to work flexibly, meet tight deadlines and maximise efficiency.
* Engage in self‑development and resilience building through practice improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
* Qualified and experienced social worker with a strong background in child care.
* Valid DBS check (required).
