Summary Major Purpose of the Role
Were looking for a proactive and customer-focused individual to join our team as anInternal Account Manager. This desk-based role is pivotal in supporting key account customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction while identifying opportunities to drive sales growth.
Main Responsibilities
* Handle incoming calls from customers.
* Analyse commercial data daily to spot trends and sales opportunities.
* Translate internal reports into customer-friendly formats and communicate insights.
* Manage a small portfolio of accounts, working towards a defined spend target.
* Escalate issues appropriately to internal stakeholders.
* Follow up on customer responses using a structured framework.
* Provide feedback to improve sales and service processes.
* Collaborate with the team to ensure procedures and task allocations are followed.
* Complete product range forms for customers as needed.
* Maintain accurate daily records using CRM tools.
Key Competencies
* Strong IT skills, particularly Excel and internal systems.
* Clear and friendly communication style with both customers and colleagues.
* Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills.
* Comfortable working independently at home and collaboratively in the office.
* Commercially aware with the ability to identify and escalate sales opportunities.
Education & Experience
* Previous experience in a phone-based customer service or account management role is preferred.
* Experience in phone-based sales is a plus.
* Ideal for individuals who are self-driven and efficient in managing their workload.

Mon - Fri 8.30am - 5pm
