We're partnering with a forward-thinking, values-led organisation in Liverpool to recruit a HR Business
Partner
on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic HR team in a hybrid working environment, where you'll play a key role in shaping the people agenda and supporting organisational growth.
What You'll Be Doing
As a People Partner, you'll provide expert HR support across a range of functions, acting as a trusted advisor to managers and employees alike. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing clear, practical guidance on HR matters including employment law, terms and conditions, performance management, pay, recruitment, and HR policy.
Managing a variety of complex employee relations cases - from investigations and disciplinaries to grievances and performance issues - ensuring fair and legally compliant outcomes.
Supporting attendance management processes, including coordinating Occupational Health referrals and attending sickness review meetings.
Leading end-to-end recruitment campaigns - from drafting job adverts and coordinating interviews to issuing contracts and onboarding new starters.
Acting as a subject matter expert in a core HR function (e.g., policies, compliance, wellbeing, or systems), becoming the go-to person for colleagues across the organisation.
Driving forward HR projects and initiatives that enhance employee engagement, wellbeing, and culture.
Ensuring all employee records are accurately maintained and fully compliant with data protection regulations (GDPR).
What We're Looking For
We're seeking an experienced and confident HR professional with a proactive mindset and a collaborative approach. You will have:
Proven experience in an HR Advisor, People Partner, or similar generalist HR role.
Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
Demonstrated experience handling complex employee relations issues from start to finish.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive, solutions-focused attitude with a genuine passion for people and organisational improvement.
