Exchange Traded Investment Governance Analyst – Aviva. York. Up to £40,000 (depending on experience). This role sits in Aviva’s Wealth business within the Investment Governance team. The team’s mission is to give customers real peace of mind—knowing they can count on us to offer the right investments and manage them with care, expertise, and integrity. The role focuses on maintaining strong investment governance for the exchange-traded investments available across our Adviser, Direct Wealth, and MyMoney platforms. This range is provided by Aviva. Responsibilities
You’ll be a part of the Investment Governance team in Aviva’s Wealth business, whose mission is to give customers real peace of mind—knowing they can count on us to offer the right investments and manage them with care, expertise, and integrity. Exchange-traded investment trading has surged by 30% year-on-year over the past three years, and this momentum is not slowing. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to support a team focused on maintaining strong investment governance for the exchange-traded investments available across our Adviser, Direct Wealth, and MyMoney platforms.
Qualifications
* A good understanding—or strong interest—in exchange-traded investments and how they work, and a willingness to learn how to assess investment suitability and apply robust due diligence
* Awareness of current and emerging regulatory developments that impact investments
* Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work well across teams
* Familiarity with corporate actions or fund change processes with a proactive mindset and an interest in improving processes
* Ideally, you’ll be working towards or interested in pursuing a relevant investment qualification—such as the CFA Investment Management Certificate - plus have a degree in a relevant discipline such as Economics or Finance (recent graduate applications will be considered)
