Welcome to South Woodford! This established GP practice in a lush suburb of East London is looking for an additional vet for 2 days per week, providing additional support to the team. About your new role! This role involves a 2-day week, 1 day being sole charge. There is a 1:4 branch Saturday and 1:16 Sunday rotation at Wanstead Hospital plus up to 2 bank holidays per year. You will be included in the last resort on-call and twilight rotation for Wanstead once settled into your role. Included in your initial induction period is also a hospital induction day to get to grips with hospital working before your first hospital shift. At South Woodford you will work closely with their highly experienced senior vet on a crossover day and will have an incredible established nursing support team. You will be fully supported by our highly experienced regional manager, whose support is invaluable to her branches, as well as a regional head vet for any additional clinical support you may need. You will also be supported by our Wanstead 24-hour hospital to refer more complex cases, and their own rotating night team provides your patients with invaluable OOH care. South Woodford is ideally situated within an 8-minute walk to the Central Line, and close to the bustling High-street with ample restaurants and bars for your down time! The practice is also within a short drive to beautiful Epping Forest for that countryside relief! Now let’s get to the nitty gritty, here is what we offer you: The salary band for this split role depending on prior experience is £45,000 to £61,000 FTE.
