Are you a proactive Teaching Assistant looking to make a real impact in Early Years? A welcoming mainstream primary school in Bordesley Green is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Reception classes on a 1:1 basis, as well as leading small group interventions. You'll play a key role in supporting children with Speech, Communication and Language Needs (SCLN) and those with emerging SEN.
Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
Deliver small group interventions focused on communication and early development
Support speech and language activities set by SEN staff
Help create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCoWhat We're Looking For:
Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent in an Early Years related subject)
Experience supporting SEN in EYFS
Strong understanding of SCLN and early development
Patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
