Responsibilities
As a Senior Care Assistant at Barchester care home, you will:
* Look after the needs of residents to deliver quality, person‑centred care and support.
* Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants in collaboration with the Deputy General Manager.
* Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans and reviews.
* Treat residents with dignity and respect their preferences, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
Career development opportunities are available, enabling progression into roles such as Care Practitioner, Regional Carer or nursing.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
* Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
