Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs
* Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and understanding
* Assist teachers in adapting activities to meet a range of learning needs
* Encourage positive behaviour and help pupils remain focused throughout lessons
* Support the development of communication, social, and independence skills
* Build strong and positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
* Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Ideal Candidate
* Experience working with children or young people is desirable
* Understanding of SEND and the challenges some pupils may face within education
* Patient, caring, and adaptable approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to remain calm and positive in a variety of situations
* Passion for supporting children to achieve their individual goals
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills within a school setting
