As a Radiographic Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our radiology department, contributing to essential imaging services that help diagnose and treat our patients.

Main duties of the job
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Assisting Radiologists, Radiographers and administrative staff to maintain a good level of service
* Support Radiologists, Radiographers and technicians by providing a high standard of patient care before during and after examination
* Maintain effective communication with patients, relatives and UHBW colleagues
* Liaise with colleagues regarding transportation of patients to and from the x-ray dept
* To assist with moving equipment and help with transferring patients on and off examination couches

* Able to work under pressure
* Proven Communication Skills
* Be sensitive and supportive to patients and their relatives attending the department
* Have an ability to organise and prioritise
* Able to work as part of a team

Knowledge and Experience
* Previous NHS experience or experience of working in a similar setting
Qualifications
* Maths GCSE or equivalent
