We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Head of Trade Aftermarket to lead and develop our UK Aftermarket Business Unit. Managing a team of five, you will drive strategic growth across a portfolio of key customers including buying groups, distributors, specialists, and independent motor factors. This role carries full P&L responsibility and plays a critical part in delivering long-term business growth.
* Develop and execute the UK Trade Aftermarket strategy to drive revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
* Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team.
* Manage strategic customer relationships, including ITG members and key accounts.
* Own contract negotiations, commercial agreements, and business reviews.
* Deliver annual promotional plans in collaboration with Product and Marketing teams.
* Monitor campaign performance and optimise sales and marketing effectiveness.
* Ensure successful product launches and strong in-store and online execution.
* Drive continuous business growth by identifying new opportunities and mitigating risks.
* Oversee forecasting, reporting, and performance tracking for the business unit.
Who we are looking for
* Proven leadership experience in the Automotive Aftermarket (essential).
* Strong commercial acumen with full P&L ownership experience.
* Strategic thinker with a track record of delivering growth.
* Experienced in managing omni-channel customers (trade, retail, e-commerce).
* Skilled negotiator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
* Strong networker with the ability to build long-term partnerships.
* Highly organised, results-driven, and operates with integrity.
