Job Overview
The Jenny Lind Children’s Hospital, NNUH, is seeking one substantive 10PA consultant in paediatric respiratory medicine. The successful appointee will help shape the developments of this well‑established unit and support the East of England CF network and regional respiratory services. The post comprises 10PA of which 1.5 SPA and 8.5 PA clinical work. The clinical work will include specialised cystic fibrosis and respiratory work, and some general paediatric acute work.
The appointee will provide inpatient and outpatient care for patients with respiratory disease. They will collaborate with colleagues in paediatric respiratory medicine, paediatric medicine, surgery, and neonatology to provide respiratory support to inpatients and outpatients in the Jenny Lind Children’s Hospital. They will work with colleagues at CUH to develop closer clinical, research and training links, as lead centres within the regional Paediatric Respiratory and Cystic Fibrosis services. NNUH is a recognised specialist centre for Cystic Fibrosis.
