Job Title: KS3 SEN Outreach Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Rochford Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide one-on-one tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in English and Maths Create individualised lesson plans based on students' abilities and learning styles Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with teachers and parents to address students' academic challenges Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance Support students in developing essential study skills Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs Strong knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: Proven experience in tutoring or teaching students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of different learning styles and effective teaching methods Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance learning Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in Special Educational Needs (SEN) Experience in conducting assessments and creating Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, flexible schedule Work primarily in learners homes or local libraries Potential travel within the East of England region All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
