The Role – SEMH Teaching Assistant
As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils through 1:1 and small-group interventions, helping them regulate behaviour, engage with learning, and develop positive routines.
A key part of the role is managing challenging behaviour using consistent, structured strategies. You will help pupils build confidence, improve emotional regulation, and re-engage with education.
As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will act as a positive role model, providing stability and encouragement for pupils who require strong, consistent support.
