This is a new opportunity to work for a global household business owning many well-known brands. We seek an experienced and ambitious Procurement Manager to join the team.
The role reports to the Head of Category Management and manages key spend areas such as MRO, International Freight, Warehousing, Operational Spend, and Utilities, with flexibility for candidates with broad indirect category experience.
Responsibilities include:
* Develop and implement strategies focusing on performance and annual savings
* Create group-wide category plans ensuring alignment and leveraging supplier relationships
* Engage and influence senior stakeholders to secure buy-in using strong market knowledge
* Build and maintain supplier relationships for comprehensive performance insights
* Monitor supplier risk and performance through reporting and feedback
* Promote procurement values and standards within the company
* Ensure strategic projects deliver optimal service and cost efficiency
Requirements:
* Experience in indirect procurement within large, complex organizations
* Preferred categories: Warehousing, International Freight, MRO, Logistics & Operations
* Procurement experience in the private sector, ideally in a global company
* Experience managing complex international projects with Tier 1 & 2 suppliers
* Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at senior levels across regions
* Strategic approach to procurement and supplier management
* Excellent communication skills across multicultural environments
* Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment
* MCIPS qualification preferred but not essential
