Description United Utilities have appointed 7 partners to Enterprise, delivering £5.5bn of projects in the Asset Management Period 8 (AMP8) between 2025 – 2030, and AMP 9 (2030 – 2035). The scope is to provide project management, design, construction and commissioning services on design and build schemes throughout the North West and Cumbria region covered by United Utilities. Projects vary in value from £10m - c£600m covering both infrastructure and non-infrastructure assets on water and wastewater sites with wider Enterprise partners. To support the Contract SHE functions, provide, and support SHE solutions and enable the Contract / Operational Teams to implement the SHE Management System. To build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders, whilst providing an independent and objective view of SHE Performance on the Contract. Key input will be required to: support projects with SHE documentation, onsite support and advice (supporting with solutions), mobilisation, SHE training, Local assurance, investigations, eliminating harm. The role would be based in the North West – Warrington & Manchester based with travel to sites plus travel to lake district. LI-KP1 Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Support and Influence Contract Leadership Team, Clients, and other Stakeholders in compliance with the SHE Management System and Contract SHE Performance Support and where required deliver training, to allow the contract team to successfully implement the SHE Management System Coach and support the Contract Operational and Supply Chain Contractors in the delivery of the Contract SHE requirements Where required be actively involved in the ongoing assessment of the Contracts Supply Chain Contractors Actively support the delivery of the annual Contract and Group SHE Objectives Actively engage with the Contract SHE Assurance programme to ensure compliance with company and statutory requirements Actively support the investigation of all unplanned events and close out of assurance findings, ensuring lessons are shared in accordance with the SHE Management System Support the timely reporting, analysis, and use of SHE data to support and influence the Contract Leadership Team and where required support the development and implementation of data-based improvement plans Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Essential Significant relevant SHE experience in relevant industry Qualifications Essential Tech. IOSH or AIEMA or equivalent NEBOSH Construction Certificate or NEBOSH Oil and Gas or IEMA Associate Qualification (Course) or equivalent Full UK Driving Licence Desirable Cert IOSH or AIEMA or equivalent NEBOSH Occupational Safety Diploma or Environmental Diploma or equivalent
