Paralegal Crime Caseworker
This is a great opportunity for someone to join our criminal team working alongside
highly experienced practitioners assisting in the conduct of a broad spectrum of
criminal cases .
Essential Qualifications
Candidates must have passed either the LPC, SQE 1 or BVC/BVS and have
gained a 2;1 in their initial degree .
The position is full time and is fully based at our offices in East London and requires
a highly organised team worker willing to undergo training in a busy, criminal law
practice.

Some experience of criminal practice or having provided client facing advice on a

to make a career in criminal law. They will be committed to working to a high
standard for our legally aided clients many of whom are disadvantaged and
vulnerable.

The work will satisfy the Qualifying Work Experience criteria for admission as a
solicitor.
Candidates will be provided with solid training in criminal litigation and will attend
court and liaise with barristers .They will be fully involved in all aspects of a case
from new inquiry to preparation and to final hearing. They will also be an
opportunity to work in the housing department in civil litigation .
Starting Salary £26000 to £28,000 according to experience.
