Role Overview
Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for a Brand Protection and Infringements Advisor. In this role you will become part of our wider legal team helping to ensure our customers enjoy Warhammer for years to come.
Responsibilities
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about the Warhammer IP and has a keen eye for detail. You’ll play an essential role in protecting Games Workshop from risk. You’ll understand the key differences between an infringement and a genuine Warhammer product as you search for infringements by scanning user-generated content platforms and assigned marketplaces. You’ll then work tirelessly to report any infringements to get them removed.
You’ll conduct takedown reports for online sales platforms and we’ll see you relentlessly monitoring websites and sales platforms to identify unusual or recurring infringement behaviours, reporting on any new information and trends.
Determined and committed to maintaining the highest levels of quality, you’ll adhere to established standards and procedures to deliver exceptional results every time as you follow a structured process for removing identified products. Your ability to make tough decisions and stand firm in the face of challenges will be pivotal in achieving our goals of reducing infringing products available across sales platforms and websites.
Highly organised and enthusiastic about the opportunity to innovate, you’ll maintain an up to date repository of enforcement evidence ensuring everything is documented to maintain legal robustness. We’re always keen to ensure continuous improvement of our processes, so we’ll look to you to get involved in research that identifies new ways for Games Workshop to approach infringing product removal. Always maintaining a hardworking and diligent approach using your time management skills will ensure you can manage a busy workload.
If you have an in-depth knowledge of Games Workshop’s IP and thrive in an environment where determination and resilience are key attributes we’d love to hear from you.
Benefits
The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.
