**Summary**
The Richard and Sheila Young School of Nursing Program is seeking applicants for a full-time Assistant Professor of Nursing position within the Pre-Licensure Program. The primary responsibilities include serving as the Clinical Faculty Liaison (CFL) with a full administrative release, participating in committee work, and contributing service to the department, college, and broader community.
**Description**
The CFL acts as the main contact between the School of Nursing and clinical faculty, maintaining positive relationships with clinical agencies, overseeing student learning experiences, and ensuring alignment with curriculum and practice standards. The role reports to the Associate Dean of Pre-Licensure Nursing and involves collaboration with the clinical placement team and administrative management of various processes.
Qualifications include a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent, a current Massachusetts RN license, and significant clinical experience across healthcare settings.
**Essential Functions**
- Develop and manage clinical sites
- Oversee student clinical experiences and evaluate performance
- Facilitate communication among faculty, clinical staff, and students
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance
- Participate in curriculum development and college-wide meetings
- Maintain licensure and engage in service activities
**Supervisor Responsibilities**
- Recruit, orient, evaluate, and foster community among clinical faculty
**Qualifications**
- Current RN license in Massachusetts
- MSN or equivalent
- Extensive clinical practice experience
- Teaching skills and strong communication abilities
