South Staffordshire College are seeking an experienced and proactive Health & Safety Officer to support and enhance our health, safety and welfare arrangements across a diverse educational estate. This is a key operational role suited to a competent health and safety practitioner who is confident working autonomously, working with staff at all levels, and contributing positively to a strong safety culture across the organisation.
Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, the role is responsible for supporting compliance with UK health and safety legislation, reviewing risk assessments, conducting site inspections, supporting incident investigations.
This role offers an opportunity to develop your health and safety practical experiences further in an environment where operational safety practices contribute to continuous improvement in safety standards and risk control.
