Computer Science Teacher - Secondary School - Leicester
Overview
Tradewind Recruitment is excited to be working with a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Leicester, currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join their team from September. This is a full-time, long-term position, with the potential to continue for the full academic year and possibly transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
* Plan, prepare and assess lessons that meet the needs of all learners
* Teach a range of computing and IT topics, including programming, algorithms, cybersecurity and digital literacy
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, problem-solving and independent thinking
* Contribute to departmental planning, extra-curricular activities and whole-school initiatives
Ideal Candidate
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
* Have experience teaching Computer Science or ICT at secondary level
* Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for digital education
* Be confident using a range of software, coding languages (such as Python or JavaScript), and digital tools
* Possess excellent classroom management and organisational skills
* Be committed to supporting student progress and achievement through inclusive and dynamic teaching
