SEN Teacher

A small, nurturing SEN School is looking for a dedicated team of Primary Teachers to provide an outstanding education to their students.
SEN Teacher - Job Specification
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Education, preferably with SEN or Primary specialism
* Preferably 2 years experience as a qualified SEN Teacher in a school environment
* Utilise lesson plans and resources provided to teach high quality education to small classes of children aged 4-12 years.
* Competently teach a full nurture-style timetable, comprised of all core subjects
* Collaborate closely with parents, Teaching Assistants and other staff members, including on-site therapists, psychologists, and counsellors.
* Full-time, permanent role (8.30-3.30, Mon-Fri term time)

The close-knit, nurturing SEN School caters for 65 Primary-aged children, and are seeking a team of Primary Teachers to support permanently. The school specialises in working with children with complex SEMH and M/SLD, particularly ASD, ADHD and other SLCN, who are unable to cope in mainstream school environments.
The school boasts expansive, well-maintained grounds in a stunning South London location, with on-site parking and local amenities close by. As such, curriculums focus on development of the whole child, particularly socioemotional and sensory learning to help each child reach their unique potential.
As SEN Teacher, you will be part of a passionate team of individuals, reporting to the SLT, leading your Teaching Assistants, and collaborating closely with other staff members, parents, external stakeholders and on-site therapists and psychologists.
