We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and hardworking individual with experience in a small to medium-sized accountancy practice to join us as a Part-time Bookkeeper. Full-time applicants may also be considered.
* Flexitime
* Hybrid working: 1 day a week from home, 2 days in the office
* Salary £27-35k DOE (pro rata)
You will work collaboratively within the bookkeeping team to meet clients' bookkeeping needs.
A key part of the role involves the preparation and review of VAT returns, as well as the preparation of management accounts as required by our client portfolio.
Experience/Skills required for the Bookkeeping role
* Strong bookkeeping knowledge of Xero, Sage, or other accounting systems
* VAT return preparation, review, and submission
* Management accounts preparation
* Excellent planning and organisational skills
* Keen to learn and develop new skills
Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper
* Liaising with clients and handling client queries regarding bookkeeping
* Preparing, reviewing, and submitting VAT returns
* Preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly management information
* Raising sales invoices for clients
