We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across the Wirral, with opportunities in West Kirby, Heswall, Bromborough, Eastham, Wallasey, Moreton, Upton and Birkenhead.
With demand continuing to grow, this is a great opportunity to secure regular work, with the potential for long-term roles in welcoming school settings.
The Role
1. Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
2. Working 1:1 or with small groups
3. Assisting with classroom activities and daily routines
4. Supporting pupils with additional needs where required
5. Helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment

Job Specification
Teaching, Learning or Classroom Assistants are now vital resources for teachers and are heavily relied upon in schools.
We specialise in recruiting Teaching Assistants (TA) who are qualified in the following;
14. NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant
15. NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant
16. Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
17. CACHE Level 3 in Childcare & Education
18. BTEC National Certificate in Childhood Studies (Nursery Nursing).
We’ll also consider experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) who have previously held a job in a primary school or assisted a pupil in the role in a secondary school but do not hold any of the above qualifications.

As a teaching assistant you’ll be expected to:
28. Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the head teacher, ALNCO and class teachers
29. Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Programmes (IEP) for students and help monitor their progress
30. Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
31. Assist class teachers with maintaining student records
32. Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills.
