Full-Time Male Teaching Assistant – One-to-One Support (Year 5)

A supportive primary school is seeking a full-time male Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a Year 5 pupil with SEMH and ADHD needs. This role is specifically aimed at male candidates to provide positive role-modelling.
About the Role:
You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to support a child with SEMH and ADHD, enabling them to access lessons, regulate their emotions, and achieve their potential. This is a highly rewarding role for a male candidate who can bring patience, consistency, and understanding to the pupil’s learning environment.

What We’re Looking For:
* Male candidates only (essential for role requirements)
* Proven experience supporting children with special educational needs
* Experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in Year 5 or KS2
* Patience, empathy, and a positive, proactive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
