Job Description
3. Leading the financial strategy and ensuring long-term financial health.
4. Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
5. Managing risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
6. Supporting the executive team with strategic decision-making.
7. Working closely with stakeholders to ensure value for money and strong financial governance.
8. Lead and manage the accounting & finance department
9. Develop and implement effective financial strategies
10. Reviewing all processes and procedures
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Finance Director should have:
11. Qualified accountant
12. Proven experience as a Finance Director within social housing sector
13. Experience of reporting and presenting complex information to Boards or Committee
14. Experience of strategic finance, business planning and cost analysis
15. Evidence of developing processes and procedures
16. Excellent understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
17. Experience of performance improvement, quality assurance, risk management and value for money improvement
18. Proficiency in accounting software
19. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop teams
20. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
