Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor based in Leatherhead. The role involves supporting the preparation and evaluation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), assisting with cost management, cost control, and cost planning for various projects. The Graduate Quantity Surveyor will also contribute to preparing cost reports and ensuring timely and accurate financial monitoring of projects. The role provides an excellent opportunity for professional growth within the construction and engineering sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with preparing project cost plans, budgets, and estimates
* Support the preparation of client valuations and payment applications
* Assist with procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
* Help manage cost control across fit-out and refurbishment projects
* Support the preparation and management of variations and change control
* Assist in reviewing subcontractor quotations and payment applications
* Support the preparation of final accounts
* Work closely with project managers and operational teams to ensure strong commercial performance
* Maintain accurate commercial records and reporting
What we are Looking For
* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, or similar
* Interest in commercial construction, refurbishment, or facilities management
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* Good working knowledge of Excel
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
