Therapeutic Radiographer
This role involves delivering high-quality radiotherapy services for patients in the Radiotherapy Department. It requires technical expertise, clinical judgment and a patient-focused approach.

Job responsibilities
* Work as a Therapeutic Radiographer within the radiotherapy team to provide efficient, high‑quality patient care and treatment throughout the department.
* Cover all aspects of departmental workload, including radiotherapy and brachytherapy treatment, CT, treatment planning and clinics.
* Deliver and record complex and highly accurate treatment and planning procedures for each patient, taking individual responsibility for actions within the team.
* Provide shift, weekend, Bank Holiday and Category 1 on‑call coverage as required by service needs.
* Commit to an emergency service commitment and support other staff during extended working hours.
Qualifications
* BSc (Hons) Radiotherapy or equivalent.
* HCPC registered as a Therapeutic Radiographer.
Experience & Knowledge
* Demonstrable working experience, including during training, in at least one radiotherapy department.
* Core knowledge of radiotherapy practice.
* Knowledge of new developments within radiotherapy.
Skills & Ability
* Effective communication within the radiotherapy setting.
* Awareness of IR(ME)R regulations in radiotherapy practice.
* Knowledge of UHDB Vision & Values.
* Evidence of additional contribution or commitment (e.g., student ambassador, CPD courses).
