Social Worker – Children’s Services (Qualified)Location: Lancaster MillHours: 37 hours per weekRate: £36.00 per hourInterviews: ASAP We are currently seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Duty and Assessment Team in Lancaster.Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake Child & Family (C&A) Assessments
* Develop and implement effective care and support plans for children and families
* Conduct safeguarding investigations in line with statutory guidance
* Manage a varied caseload within a fast-paced duty environment
Requirements:
* Qualified Social Worker (Degree in Social Work or equivalent)
* Registered with Social Work England
* Minimum 3 years’ post-qualifying experience
* Proven experience within Duty & Assessment or Child Protection (CP) teams
* Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
