Key Responsibilities
As Senior Accountant, you will manage your own diverse portfolio of clients and be responsible for:
* Preparing year-end statutory accounts for a range of SMEs and owner-managed businesses
* Completing personal tax returns and corporation tax returns
* Overseeing bookkeeping and VAT work
* Providing ongoing support and advice to clients, ensuring excellent service delivery
* Reviewing work produced by junior team members (where applicable)
* Building strong client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor
About You
We are looking for an accountant with strong technical knowledge and confidence managing their own client portfolio. The ideal candidate will have:
* ACA/ACCA qualification (fully qualified preferred)
* Part-qualified or QBE (Qualified by Experience) candidates will also be considered
* Significant experience within an accountancy practice
* Strong understanding of accounts preparation and tax compliance
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
* Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
