A forward-thinking SEN school in Sonning Common is recruiting a Complex Needs Support Assistant to work with pupils who have multiple additional needs, including Autism, learning difficulties, trauma, and medical or developmental needs. This role offers invaluable experience within a therapeutic and child-centred setting.
Role Details:
Role: Complex Needs Support Assistant
Location: Sonning Common, Oxfordshire
Pay: £89-£100 per day
Start: ASAP
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Age Range: 5-18 yearsComplex Needs Support Assistant Responsibilities:
Provide tailored 1:1 support for pupils with complex needs
Assist with emotional regulation, behaviour support, and daily routines
Support learning activities adapted to individual ability and needs
Help maintain a calm, safe, and structured environment
Liaise with SEN staff, therapists, and pastoral teamsThis Complex Needs Support Assistant role is particularly well suited to individuals considering careers in mental health, psychology, occupational therapy, nursing, or SEN teaching.
