Are you passionate about developing talent in the construction industry? Our civils contracting partner, operating on the outskirts of Glasgow, is seeking a Construction Skills Trainer to deliver high-quality training to heavy and small plant operators across the Central Belt of Scotland.
About the Role
This is a hands-on and dynamic position, ideal for someone with strong experience in plant operations and a passion for mentoring others. You’ll be responsible for:
- Delivering practical and theoretical training to operatives on-site and in classroom settings.
- Assessingpetency and ensuringpliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Supporting the development of training materials and contributing to continuous improvement.
- Travelling to various sites across the Central Belt to deliver tailored training sessions.
What they are looking for
- Proven experience operating and/or training on heavy and small plant machinery (, excavators, dozers, dumpers, rollers).
- Recognised training or assessor qualifications (, NPORS, CPCS, CSCS, LANTRA, or equivalent).
- Strongmunication and interpersonal skills.
- Full UK driving licence pany vehicle provided).
