Starting your Journey:
As a Painter, you will assist in delivering high standards and maintaining guest facilities. You should take pride in your work and collaborate closely with team members to ensure exceptional standards. Good health & safety awareness is essential, especially regarding hazardous substances, working at heights, and risk assessments. You must be capable of handling face-to-face and telephone customer inquiries.
You will look for opportunities to create memorable moments for our guests, providing a personal experience they will want to share.
Joining the housekeeping department, your responsibilities will include:
* Performing effective painting, including repairs and preventative work throughout the hotel
* Ensuring paint supplies match the specified color codes and are used correctly
* Carrying out daily painting requests via the Hotel Service Pro system
* Coordinating with the Executive Housekeeper to record completed work
* Working flexibly to meet business needs
* Carrying out all painting work in compliance with health and safety legislation
* Supporting maintenance and housekeeping with tasks from monthly walk rounds
* Assisting the Maintenance Manager as needed
As a Painter, attention to detail is crucial to maintain consistent standards. This role is vital to the hotel's operation and the guest experience. You should be efficient, self-motivated, and able to multitask, always maintaining a positive attitude. We encourage you to bring your personality and enthusiasm to our team.
On your first day, you'll start a structured 12-week learning journey to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence to excel as a Painter. We are looking for someone who:
* Can deliver excellent standards
* Is self-aware and able to evaluate their own work
* Can multitask and pays close attention to detail
* Has experience as a painter and decorator
* Knows different types of paints and finishes
* Understands basic decorating and filling techniques
