Are you a finance leader with a passion for operational excellence and global collaboration? We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Financial Control to lead our global transactional accounting operations and regional finance teams. About the Role As Head of Financial Control, you will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of our Group’s global accounting processes in line with group policies and local regulations. You’ll lead a team of direct and indirect reports across the UK and our regional offices, driving continuous improvement through our new ERP system and ensuring robust financial controls. Key Responsibilities Lead global shared services for accounts payable, receivable, and treasury, ensuring accurate financial transactions and KPI-driven service delivery. Manage and support regional finance teams, acting as the key liaison with UK Head Office. Identify inefficiencies and implement controls-based solutions to enhance finance performance. Maintain and update policy documentation and training materials, ensuring compliance and audit readiness. Oversee short-term cash flow forecasting and treasury management, including UK banking relationships and RCF facility compliance. Develop and mentor finance professionals, fostering a strong controls culture. Role Metrics ~5 direct reports, 10–13 indirect reports Global scope with cross-functional collaboration What We’re Looking For Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) – Essential Membership of a relevant finance professional body – Essential Proven experience managing transactional accounting in a global organisation Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Demonstrated leadership in developing high-performing finance teams Excellent IT proficiency, ideally with ERP systems What We Offer – Finance Jobs with Purpose An opportunity to lead a pivotal function in a FTSE-recognised, innovative, and sustainable business.
