Job Title: Finance Analyst
Working Pattern: Full-Time
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Analyst to join our Rolls‑Royce team in Derby.
Responsibilities
* Work with the Business Support Team (BST) to ensure on‑time delivery of BST deliverables, including reporting, reconciliations, month‑end statutory actuals, and liaison with Defence HQ, Finance Service Centre and external auditors.
* Support decisions and scenario analysis for the Business and Business Partners within agreed timescales.
* Lead the preparation of forecasts, set timetables, communicate issues, prepare reporting packs and consolidate data into VBM.
* Maximise the use of standardised models, ensuring accuracy, compliance and meeting deadlines.
* Actively collaborate with business and finance partners, supporting the Improvement Journey to Process Excellence and proactively engaging in improvement activities.
* Participate in and help drive forward the Finance Service Delivery Model, preparing the business for growth and efficiency.
Qualifications
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA preferred).
* Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
* Experience in forecasting, budgeting and cost accounting.
* Knowledge of financial systems (SAP/HFM).
* Contract review process experience.
* Basic experience in preparation of Business Evaluations / business cases.
