A well-established manufacturing business is looking to appoint a Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor to support the continued development of its HSE function across a busy production environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with around 2-3 years' HSE experience who is looking to step into a broader, hands-on role within a growing manufacturing operation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support and maintain the company's Health, Safety & Environmental systems
* Conduct risk assessments, audits and investigations across the site
* Promote a positive health & safety culture across production and operational teams
* Assist with maintaining compliance to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards
* Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks where required
* Monitor incidents, corrective actions and continuous improvement activities
* Ensure policies and procedures remain up to date with current legislation
Requirements:
* 2-3 years' experience within a Health & Safety or HSE role
* Manufacturing or industrial environment experience preferred
* Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
* NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent qualification desirable
* Strong communication skills with a proactive and practical approach
* Confident working with stakeholders across all levels of the business
