What Youll Be Doing
As an Assembly Operative, youll play a hands-on role in manufacturing life-saving aerospace technology. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will:
1. Fabricate and assemble seat pan chassis and parachute container assemblies.
2. Perform precision bench fitting and build of detailed components.
3. Conduct heat treatment (annealing and age hardening) of materials to exact specifications.
4. Carry out injection moulding, bonding, packing, and sealing of key assemblies.
5. Fit aerospace hardware using a variety of fasteners, adhesives, and Velcro.
6. Utilise vacuum forming and Royalite sheet techniques to create advanced assemblies.
