Job Title: 1:1 Tutor Location: Loughborough Area Hours: Flexible (during school hours) Pay: Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience and qualifications) About the Role: We are seeking dedicated and motivated 1:1 Tutors to support pupils in the Loughborough area. This role involves working with students who require additional support outside of a mainstream classroom, either in a school setting or within the pupil’s home. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver tailored 1:1 lessons to meet individual learning needs Support pupils in core subjects such as English, Maths, and/or Science Adapt teaching strategies to suit a range of abilities and learning styles Provide support for pupils with additional needs, including SEND and SEMH Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, parents, and professionals Requirements: Experience working with children or young people (teaching, tutoring, or support roles) Good understanding of the UK curriculum Strong communication and organisational skills Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule Desirable: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification Experience working with SEND or SEMH pupils Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle What We Offer: Flexible working hours during school hours Competitive rates of pay Ongoing support from a dedicated team Opportunities for long-term and consistent work If you are passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their full potential, we would love to hear from you.
