Job Description
Fixed term contract until March 2029 as a MARAC Coordinator for West Midlands Police.
About the Role
Coordinate and administer the MARAC panel: receive referrals and risk assessments, set the agenda, complete minutes and actions, and ensure partner agencies complete their tasks.
Analyse panel data to identify referral gaps and ensure agencies work with all victims, especially those from minority or hard‑to‑reach groups. Prepare performance reports and develop training sessions on the MARAC process and violence against women and girls.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and administer MARAC panel meetings.
* Receive referrals and risk assessments, set agenda, complete minutes and actions.
* Ensure partners complete their actions on time.
* Analyse data, identify referral gaps.
* Prepare performance reports on MARAC for partnership meetings.
* Develop and deliver training sessions on MARAC process and violence against women and girls.
Knowledge & Skills Required
* High communication, written and presentation skills.
* Highly developed organisational and prioritising skills.
* Handle sensitive information confidentially.
* Proficient with standard office IT software.

Experience Required

Qualifications
* GCSE level with at least 5 GCSEs Grades A–C, including English and Mathematics (or equivalent) or experiential learning.

Hours and Location
Full‑time role based at West Bromwich Police Station.
Vetting
Successful applicants will pass recruitment vetting, counter‑terrorism clearance and background & financial disclosure.
Medical
Appointment dependent on successful medical checks, which may include a drug test and hearing test.
